A piece of modular, stackable concept furniture built for a workshop on open-source design.
The (stool)^3 is easily replicable and uses commonly found materials to accomplish a variety of tasks.
Specifically designed as a multipurpose object for design studios, it can be used as storage, seating and as vertical display shelves by stacking or suspending them.

In addition to the furniture itself, plans and instructions were made available online for anyone to build and use themselves under a creative commons license.
As a decorative touch, the stool was painted with a finish inspired by Eddie Van Halen’s Frankenstrat guitar.
